DESCRIPTION/HISTORY
On sale with Bruce Greetham is this outstanding car in a colour that is so beautiful you can't stop looking at it. Started life in Singapore in 1961, as it's a very rare RHD model not seen very often, if at all. Gloss Black complemented with Tan leather and a soft top is just so beautiful. The History file dates back to the very early 70s, with MOT certificates from 1974. It was fully restored by Dr Classics from 2016/18 with a cost of over 95000 Euros. This is all documented and invoiced in the History file alongside all bills and work carried out in date order. The service book and all manuals are in perfect order, with many Historic stamps from new. All keys are present, and the car has a push-button starter motor. It starts without any hesitation and still wears its original Solex carburettors. The Matching Numbers seal the real deal.
WHY BUY.
This has to be one of the most handsome-looking W121 190 SLs on the market today, and as a right-hand-drive example, it is the one to have for future value. Finding another this nice will be a hard task in RHD. The cost now to restore to this standard will be well over £200K, and that's before you have found a matching-number right-hand-drive example. I would say this is good value. What are you waiting for? Call Bruce for further details.
