DESCRIPTION/HISTORY.
On sale with Bruce Greetham Classic Benz is this Mercedes-Benz piece of History. The collectors out there will know that this sits in the desirability factor of a car, wanting to own a W109 300 SEL 6.3. This Mercedes wasn't really supposed to happen, but behind the scenes it was built. I have known this car for many years and been part of its journey with one or two owners. It once belonged to the UK Club Chairman, who cherished the car for a good number of years with one mechanic looking after it. A History file to die for, which is all documented in the huge file.
Originally painted in paint code 350 H and then changed over ten years ago to 904 midnight blue.
The Air conditioning is fully working, with recent work to the air suspension and full service by Aston Works Newport Pagnell. A recent fuel injection pump overhaul was carried out alongside the blower motor and bearings. This is a very well-sorted W109 6.3 that not only looks right but drives to perfection, as these rare beasts can be tricky to set up.
WHY BUY.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a rare right-hand-drive road train of a car in beautiful condition that carries a boot badge of wealth of the 60s. Not many are left now, and to restore one to perfection would be eye-watering. Step along and come and see a piece of Mercedes History that not only looks good but is mechanically as good as it can be. It is all ready to go.
