1970 MERCEDES-BENZ 280 SL W113

DESCRIPTION/HISTORY.

On sale with Bruce Greetham is this very well-sorted W113 Pagoda 280 SL.  Deep in the History file. It was purchased in 1970 in the UK and then flown to Malaysia by RMAF C-130 aircraft. It was then purchased by RMAF Mr Edgar, who purchased this Pagoda in 1980 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A full restoration was carried out with the MB dealer Cycle and Carriage Co.   It then came back to the UK in 1994.

Recently carried out a full body restoration and colour change to Silver/Grey metallic, chrome work, new carpets and a full engine tune.  The decision to paint the hardtop to black and hubcaps to match is the customers choice. A very well sorted 280 SL Pagoda. A huge History file dating back to nearly new, with all old MOT certificates and bills.  

It drives very nicely and presents beautifully with a new body rebuild for a £100,000 restoration.

WHY BUY.

Finding a very nicely presented Pagoda now in this condition for sensible money is not easy, and when this much commitment has been made to restore such a lovely example.  Come and drive and carry out an inspection; you will be overwhelmed.
