1988 MERCEDES-BENZ 300 SL R107

HISTORY/DESCRIPTION

On sale with Bruce Greetham Classic Benz, this is something different for the R107 owner. This SL went through a Super Sports program on engine upgrades, with a sports camshaft and a lower-end rebuild of rings and bearings. The performance was raised to give a more increased sportier drive, combined with a completely new suspension set-up for road handling, with upgraded Roll Bars. A stainless exhaust system was fitted with a little Jaz to the rear pipes.  The vehicle was lowered and given a more aggressive stance but still retains the class of an R107. The Automatic gearbox was retained for cruising ability.  The Super Sports SL was born. All History, service books, and receipts from Super Sports Work, totalling over £45,000.

Recently dry-iced to the underbody to enhance its future-proofing to be used all year around. A Social media video has been released on this model for further detail.
