1988 MERCEDES-BENZ R107 300 SL

DESCRIPTION

On sale with Bruce Greetham is this beautiful R107 300 SL.  Probably painted in one of the most desirable colours available, married to a bomb proof and as-new MB tex seating. Superb straight-six engine, which we know is super smooth and well suited to this model. A very comprehensive service history, including a Bulkhead certificate.  The History dates back to the early 2000s. It was supplied by Sparshatt Jones Mercedes -Benz Dealer in Dartford on 21.4.1988.  13 service stamps are labelled in the service booklet, with many bills from London specialists. The Recent owner purchased this SL last year and completely refurbished the interior to near as-new condition. All new carpets, seats removed and deep cleaned, floor pans cleaned with new insulation, including the wood on the dash and console professionally refurbished to new condition. The owner was passionate about perfection and enjoyed the winter project, being a concours man. The full underbody was dry-iced and completly wax oiled correctly to show its originality. There is no rust visible on the underside of this SL.

WHY BUY.

This was road-tested by me, and I can confess this is as good as it gets, and with such a low mileage of just 50,000 miles, it has the balance of use and investment in the coming years. Such a great colour combination, combined with a Dark Blue Soft Top.
