1988 Mercedes-Benz R107 500SL

HISTORY:

A very well-appointed R107 500SL, in one of the most desirable colour combinations of Nautic Blue bodywork with grey leather interior, complemented by dark blue soft top. The front seats having been re trimmed in the correct leather.

The air-conditioning runs ice-cold, and the vehicle is in an overall beautiful condition.

Over the last 10 years the current owner has invested in detailed and expensive cosmetic and mechanical work. The rear boot spoiler, standard to the 500SL, was removed prior to paintwork being done to the rear.

A London car, it has always been garaged. The very-extensive documentation shows gearbox rebuild, rear axle seals and timing chain replaced; with servicing on-the-dot shown by fully-stamped service book.

The wheels have been refurbished and have the correct Michelin tyres, no expense spared.  With safety in mind the rare option of an Air Bag is fitted.
