HISTORY/DESCRIPTION.

On sale is this beautiful R107 300 SL in a colour combination that is not seen very often. Beautiful Astral Silver with Mid Red leather interior.  A late-model from 1989 with a very comprehensive history and low ownership. Only 4 previous owners, with the second owner enjoying it for 26 years. The History file has many previous MOT certificates, bills, a recent gearbox overhaul and a fresh MOT. There is a document covering all MOT dates and mileages throughout its history.  I have only ever seen another one in this fantastic colour combination, which is just so very Gullwing-like. Drives on the button with a lovely crisp interior and nice, fresh original carpets to match.

I have been involved with this car for six years, and now the owner has decided to sell through me. I have road-tested it and can confess this is just how a 300 SL should drive. It has the right tone from the exhaust, as it's original and sharp, tight steering, with such a lovely mileage of just 52,000 miles; it has, in my opinion, a good future ahead.
