1989 MERCEDES-BENZ 300SL R107

DESCRIPTION/HISTORY.

On sale with Bruce Greetham Classic Benz is this Concours grade R107 300 SL, a winner with the MB Club of concours De Elegance back in 2023.

Started life with Puttocks Mercedes suppliying dealer, with a full documented History with number of owners history. The first Owner was the dealer principal of Puttocks being one the last models made in 1989.

From 1991 it belonged to Mr W who kept the vehicle from 1991 to 2016 with very little use being a pilot from Heathrow. It was then sold to Mr J who i sold it back in 2016 and during that time i helped him acheive concours status until 2024. The condition is staggering and one that has to be admired of its condition.  I then sold it last year to Mr O who kept it in storage as a interim model until his Pagoda comes alive.  If you are looking for perfection then this has to be as close to a new car as possible. All books , manuals, spare keys, even the plastic wallet key, service book stamped when required and all in perfect condition, still retaining its factory smell for those who know on a untouched and not over cleaned 107.  This car is ready for the european road trip or concours event and one you would be proud to keep for ever.

WHY BUY.

The question is why not as this is copper bottom guarantee that it will always retain its value and status as the previous owners have cherished it.  un marked body and a interior you couldn't make this good today.

I see these SL's come and go but there one or two that you remember very well and this is one of them. flick the key and this is what it woud have been like driving out of Puttocks in 1989.  Truely a magnificient peice of engineering and one that i would say is on your hit list to own.
