DISCRIPTION/HISTORY.

On sale with Bruce Greetham is this very desirable R129 SL500 with mileage that is usable and in line with the years spent on the road. It's only a four-previous-owner car and loved by the current owner, who has a fine collection of Mercedes Cars. Lived a life inside, and you can tell by the way this car is presented. Lots of mechanical work has been done, with recent Air Conditioning Work and suspension work. Most of the maintenance has been done in-house with the owner, so there is no service History present with this model, but we do have two keys.   The Book pack and leather wallet are available.  This is the first edition of the 5-speed automatic gearbox, which is a big part of cruising.

WHY BUY.

The 2nd generation of the R129 SL500 is the last of the M119 V8 engine. This one carries no distributor caps that can at times cause condensation problems, but not on this model. Lovely mileage and one of the best colours in Green/Black with Cream leather. All original Soft top with logos present. A fantastic driving car that requires nothing but driving and enjoying.   Everything works as listed, with ice-cold air con.
