1988 Mercedes-Benz R107 300SL

HISTORY.

For sale is an R107 300 SL that has been with the current owner for over 24 years,  with 3 previous owners before him.  A full, recent overall with a repaint in its original color of Midnight blue code 904. The interior seats were retrimmed in cream leather. A full wheel refurbishment with new Michelin tyres fitted.  All fluids, subframe bushes, and filters have been replaced. The car has been used and enjoyed over its 89000 miles, so it was time for a refresh. The wood pack does require refurbishing at some point, but doesn't distract from the condition. This is a very well-presented 300SL that drives as it should, and is focused on the reliability to use, not so much for the show field. The soft top is original, with new plastic windows fitted which complement the rest of the lovely paintwork.  The Books, keys, and manuals are present. A very usable, with a very desirable colour combination, 300SL that is very sensibly priced.
